I would like to personally thank you for creating this Meetup group, and will do what I can to help keep the Second Amendment Right to Keep and Bear Arms intact on my end.

It is my belief that the only way to counter the threats posed to our right to self defense is to organize into groups of like-minded individuals and use truth and knowledge to couteract the lies which anti-gun activists spread through an all too willing mainstream media...

I sincerely hope that many others around the world will take a stand against the misinformation, mischaracterization, and blatant spin foistered upon the public at large by informing others, acting in a kind and respectful manner to others (to counteract the "gun toting lunatic" characterization which smothers the true image of law-abiding gun owners like a wet blanket) and through exercise of your First Amendment Rights... You may think that one person cannot do much, but if you can convince even one other person that gun owners are not trigger-happy madmen you can help create real change!
